Getting to know me

Getting to know you, getting to know all about you…

So I told you last week that I wanted to get a bit more personal on the blog and here is the second post in which you will learn a little bit more about me. Thanks to Fay who posted this after she saw Charlene at Gee Whiskers posting.

This is me!

1: What eye color do you find sexiest?
Uhm…. I don’t know… I don’t know if the color of a persons eyes or what they look like are what makes a sexy. Yes, some eye colors are more interesting than others, ice-grey-blue and those people who have different colored eyes.

2: White, milk, or dark chocolate mocha?
Well… I don’t really drink hot drinks but it would probably be a white mocha…

3: If you could get a Sharpie tattoo on your back, what would it be?
I would want something gigantic… like a hot air balloon over a world with a red heart over where I live or a dinosaur  or a unicorn riding on a rainbow with Care Bears all around… . (this is sharpie… It’ll come off!)

4: Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it?
I’m originally from Ireland, but we moved to South Africa when I was three. There after I can count the number of places I’ve lived on two fingers, okay maybe three but I’m not sure if one counts. You see I grew up in a great suburb in the Durban North area, we lived in two houses on the same road for about 22 years! So we knew our neighbors, as kids we all played in the road and in each others gardens, we had a great time. I personally loved it although I know some people would find that completely boring.

5: Most embarrassing moment?
Oh goodness! I have too many to make mention of, although I don’t easily get embarrassed and most of the time I’m the one laughing my head off at how silly the thing was.

6: If you could have any pet in the world, illegal or not, what would you get?
Unicorn… they’re not illegal are they?? Seriously though I would love love love love love love love a huge marine fish tank with my favorite fish, maybe even a mini turtle, we used to have a fish tank which my dad used to catch fish for.

It’s a chunky unicorn… How cute!

7: What’s your most favorite part of your body?
Uhm… I like my eyes and my eyelashes.

8: What’s your most favorite part of your personality?
I like to think that I’m friendly, funny and approachable and I like making new friends.

9: Which continents have you been on?
Whoop whoop! I’ve been to Europe, Africa and North America. I’ve been very fortunate to travel quite a lot in my life, and it’s something that I really enjoy doing, and would like to do more of.

10: Do you get motion sickness? Any horror stories?
Nope! I’ve done car trips, plane trips and cruises and nothing bothers me aside from the usual vertigo that people get on long distances.

11: What was your favorite cartoon growing up?
This is probably showing my age, in Ireland there was a program called Rainbow Brite that I loved, also The Muppets, The Care Bears and My Little Ponies.

This is perhaps where my love for rainbows and unicrons came from.

12: If you had to have a cow or a pig, which would you take? Why?
Both? I would get a pig, the family keeps all our fruit/veg peelings to compost so there would be plenty of food… Can it be a miniature pig? So that it doesn’t try to eat the dogs when it gets bigger.

13: If you had to look at one city skyline for the rest of your life, which would it be?
I’ve never really been a ‘skyline’ person, I would love to one day live in a farm type setting, where there is nothing but you, nature and the hills.

14: If you had to move to another country, where would you move?
Does Disney World count as a country?? I would totally move there, or as close to there as possible. I really love South Africa though so I don’t know if I would ever move away.

15: Do you eat enough vegetables?
Probably too many! And fruits! I make sure I have the dietician approved five fruits and veggies a day.

16: Do you like horror movies? How about thrillers?
I love thrillers, I’m not so big on the horror films, not because they’re scary but because they are always seriously far fetched.

17: Do you swear in front of your parents?
I pretty much don’t swear in front of anyone, I think that swearing is a complete lack of verbal creativity and it looks and sounds hideous coming out of peoples mouths.

18: If you could change your natural hair color, would you? To what?
I have pretty much died my hair ever color conceivable since i was in std! I’ve been; red, blue black, aubergine, blonde, brunette, auburn and more. But I would love to go candy-floss pink…

19: Do you want to get married? Have kids?
I thought that I would be married at 21 with a string of kids by 26… That hasn’t happened but I do think I’ll get married and have a few little tykes running around some day.

20: City or nature person?
Both, I like to be able to get away and relax in nature, but I also like the Convienence of living in a city and being able to ‘run’ out to the shops.
